Extend the range of either your indoor or outdoor access point with a simple, and cost effective outdoor omni antenna.  This 12dBi omni antenna is best used for applications where you need to run an extension cable from your desktop/Access point to the antenna.  Best when used with less then 30ft. of loss loss coax cable.  This 15dBi omni antenna can be an excellent solution for RV Parks, Marinas, Resort WiFi, and other outdoor gathering areas, where reliable Wireless Network access is desired.  N-type female connector will adapt to any indoor or outdoor access point using a coax extension cable.  Just tell us the length of cable you need, and we will cut a custom length of coax for you wireless application.

Mounting hardware is included, and can mount to a flat surface or to a pole.  Please contact us for more information. Call today: (516) 214-0321.

Please note:  Typical Wireless Range will be dependent on the following:

  1. Transmit Power of your Access Point or Wireless Router
  2. Outdoor Obstructions (trees, lakes, buildings, RV's, hills, etc.)
  3. Type of building material (metal, aluminum, wood, sheetrock)
  4. Mounting position of antenna
  5. dBi Gain of the outdoor Wi Fi antenna
  6. Length of coax cable connected to the antenna
  7. Client device receive sensitivity, and transmit power

The stronger the transmit power of the access point, the better your wireless signal will carry, and provide a more enjoyable Internet surfing experience for your customers.  The Transmit Power on typical Linksys, Dlink and Belkin Wireless Access Points/Routers,  is usually in the 15dbm range, or 32mW Transmit Power.  This means that connecting a high gain antenna will help your range, but will not provide the increased distance and signal strength that say a 200mW, or even 500mW Access Point will provide.  To get the best range from your outdoor antenna, please ask us about upgrading your Linksys or D-Link Access point.
